Aether-Pro writes and formats your book with tools designed to keep it from sounding like generic AI, ready to upload to Amazon KDP. Under the hood it runs automatic mathematical pagination, anti-cliché writing rails, an author voice-fingerprint engine and a real-time prose auditor that reviews every scene before saving it. No sign-up during the open Beta. Bring your own API key (BYOK) and stay in control of your manuscript.
What is Aether-Pro?
A publishing studio that runs in your browser, built for novelists who want to format and export books ready for Amazon KDP, using AI with their own API keys (BYOK).
Why is it free right now?
It is in open Beta to bring in its first authors and grow the product. In the future it will require a very affordable yearly license. Authors will always keep their own API key (BYOK): they pay the provider directly for only what they use, without a subscription markup.
How is my manuscript protected?
Your book is stored in your browser, and Aether-Pro has no servers that store it. When you use an AI feature, the text it needs travels straight from your browser to the provider you chose, with your own key: Aether never sees it. Your API keys are stored encrypted (AES-GCM) on your device.
Which export formats does it support?
Clean EPUB and print-ready PDF, with page size, bleed and safety margins following Amazon KDP specifications.
We don't build features at random. Each one answers something specific that frustrates self-published authors.
Your AI-assisted novel reads like every other one: the same tired metaphors, the same flat rhythm.
Anti-Cliché Rails + the Real-Time Prose Auditor filter and fix every scene before it is saved.
The moment you let AI write for you, you lose your own author voice along the way.
The Voice-Fingerprint Engine separates your seed as an author from what the AI learns, to keep it steady across the whole book.
Formatting by hand for Amazon KDP — margins, bleed, page size — costs you hours or a designer.
Mathematical Pagination works out those measurements to the millimetre, print-ready, automatically.
In a long novel you forget what colour your character's eyes were in chapter 3.
The Lore Bible watches continuity and warns you before the mistake reaches the reader.
You pay a monthly AI subscription even if you only write a couple of hours a week.
With BYOK you pay the AI provider directly for only what you use — no middleman charging you extra.
You don't want your unpublished manuscript living on someone else's server.
Your book is stored in your browser, not on Aether servers. When you use the AI, the text goes straight to the provider you choose.
Aether-Pro works out page and line dimensions precisely. Move the controls below to see the layout respond in real time.
The wind blew cold across the plains of Aetheria. It was not the ordinary chill of the mountains, but the icy breeze that heralds a silicon storm. The machines had stopped whistling in the low valleys.
Alistair adjusted the dial of his local receiver. The encryption key was still intact, blinking a faint green on his wrist. If the central network fell, his travel log would stay safe.
"We have to move," he whispered, watching the needle of the analogue barometer. The pressure was falling faster than in the worst records of the great basin.
Aether-Pro charges no subscription during the Beta. With your own API key (BYOK) you pay the provider only for what you use, with no middleman and no markup.
Indicative only: it prices a single pass over your book's text at each provider's input rate. A full forge makes many passes — structure, writing, review — and costs much more. Measured in September 2026, in Elite mode: a 30-page novella (about 3,800 words, with 3 illustrations) cost about $0.60; a 120-page nonfiction book (about 29,000 words), about $3; and a 200-page novel (about 36,000 words), between $5.50 and $8 depending on the provider's price. Rates are set by each provider and may change.
Aether-Pro combines precision book design with intelligent assistance, right in your browser.
Calculates margins, indents and line grid with DPI precision for print-ready KDP PDFs.
See the Amazon KDP specificationsSemantic filters that catch stock phrases and banned metaphors according to your novel's genre.
Your API keys are stored encrypted in your browser. No Aether server ever sees them.
A specialised creative assistant that helps you draft and structure scenes without losing narrative pace.
Produces clean EPUB files and PDFs with bleed and safety margins following Amazon KDP standards.
A consistency module that helps you keep your characters' looks and your objects consistent across chapters.
Separates the author's human seed from the dynamic traits the AI learns, to keep a coherent literary voice throughout the book.
Every generated scene goes through a local heuristic auditor that measures rhythm, lexical variety, AI clichés and monotony. If the score is low, the system surgically fixes it before saving.
Aether-Pro adapts its design rules and its AI engine to your book's genre.
A blend of rigorous scientific speculation and human emotional truth.
The system will block or flag the AI if it tries to use these common genre clichés in Spanish or English:
