Aether Libro Versión en español

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Aether Libro (the "Application"). By using the Application you accept these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Application.

1. What Aether Libro is

Aether Libro is a book-layout and writing-assistance tool that runs in your browser. It helps you draft, structure, lay out and export manuscripts (PDF/EPUB), optionally with the help of external artificial-intelligence providers that you configure yourself.

2. User accounts

You do not need an account to write, lay out and export: all your work is stored locally in your own browser (see the Privacy Policy).

The only account that exists is optional and is used only for the free beta (section 4): if you want to use the AI without your own key, you can sign in with your Google account. You can sign out at any time from AI Settings and ask us to delete the account.

3. Your AI keys and external providers

To use the artificial-intelligence features (text generation, proofreading, illustrations, etc.) you can supply your own API key from an external provider (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or a local model via Ollama), or use the trial credit of the free beta (section 4). With your own key, that key and the content you send to those features are communicated directly between your browser and the provider you choose.

You are responsible for complying with those providers' terms of service, for any charges they incur, and for keeping your key secret. Aether Libro is not a party to that contractual relationship and does not control the content those providers return.

4. Free beta and trial credit

During the beta, anyone without their own key can use the AI with free trial credit by signing in with their Google account. The credit is granted to the accounts we approve (there may be a waiting list); it is personal, is not money, has no cash value, cannot be transferred or redeemed, and is not refunded if unused.

In the free beta the AI works through our own intermediary, with the models we choose for it; some features (such as AI illustrations) may not be included. There is a daily usage limit shared by all testers: if it is reached, the AI stops until the next day. Your book stays saved in any case.

The beta is a trial: we may change the credit, its conditions or end it at any time, and suspend access for accounts that abuse it (for example, by creating several accounts to obtain more credit). With your own key you can keep using the Application without these limits.

5. Ownership of your content

Every manuscript, text, character, image or file you create or import in Aether Libro is yours. We claim no ownership rights over your content. We have no access to it unless you expressly share it outside the Application (for example, by exporting it and sending it to a third party).

6. Responsibility for AI-generated content

Content generated by AI models may contain errors, inaccuracies or unintended similarities to third-party works. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and verifying any generated content before publishing or distributing it, including its originality and compliance with third-party copyright.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use Aether Libro to:

8. Warranties and liability

Aether Libro is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Because the Application stores data locally in your browser, we are not responsible for data loss caused by clearing your browser cache, changing devices, or failures of the browser itself — we recommend exporting copies of your important projects regularly.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced within the Application. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
